  I love Subway restaurants because of the good subs.  But even more than that because one of our family members has a severe dairy allergy, and there are good dairy free options and the people behind the counter at Subways everywhere we go are very helpful and careful to build a dairy free sub.  However each restaurant has it's own characteristics, so some offer more or less peace of mind in the quest to ensure the sub is dairy free.
  
  My one visit here found this location very busy, but even so I've seen busy done much better elsewhere.  Behind the counter was a complete mess.  There was food thrown all over the place - ingredients mixed with each other in the bins, cheese all over everything.  For us, that was a non-starter.
  
  We decided not to chance it here (July 11 at 5:00 pm) and went instead back to the Subway we had passed by two miles to the east on Rt 4, where we found a very neat, clean, friendly, and not so crowded environment, and had a great Subway meal.
